Kennedy launches first system for kitchen environment

Well known for its integrated range of washroom hygiene systems, Kennedy Hygiene Products launched its first hygiene system for the kitchen at Interclean Amsterdam last month. Christened the GD ULTRA, the new dispensing system is a cost-effective and compact grease degrader, designed to treat drains in a broad range of food preparation environments.
 
Cost-effective & compact grease degrader
Small and easy to install, GD ULTRA ensures the smooth running of waste water drainage systems by reducing blockages in waste traps and pipes which are usually caused by the build up of solid food waste.  As a result the system prevents unpleasant odours and unhygienic conditions which invariably need costly chemical or mechanical treatment.  The GD ULTRA can be used in any environment where food preparation takes place, from restaurants, pubs, clubs, care homes, and hospitals to hotels and airports.

Ultra concentrated natural consumable
At the core of the new system is an ultra concentrated natural consumable based on specially selected bacteria which, when dispensed into the drainage system regularly, digest food derived oils, fats, greases and other organic matter.  The consumable produces a continuous and renewable supply of highly active enzymes and bacteria, which enables it to continue working between doses providing longer lasting protection than biological or caustic products. The highly effective sensitive consumable aids efficiency and cost control without adversely affecting drainage pipes, walls or bondings.

Compact unobtrusive & easy to install
The unit is compact and as such is easy to deliver and install while making minimal demands on warehouse storage. Its aesthetically pleasing design complements the kitchen ambience and it is convenient as it uses D cell batteries so no mains electricity is required.
